Happy April and almost-Easter to those who celebrate 🙂 I’m looking forward to our low-key holiday this weekend: Easter baskets and a chocolate egg hunt for the kids, brunch with my mom in-person and sister virtually too. And whatever the weather is right now, it MUST get warm soon so there’s that to look forward to as well. *Looks away from window so I can’t see the freezing rain and snow*

I love writing these posts because it makes me pause and take stock of our spending this past month–for better or for worse. I’m definitely in the mood to be thrifty and use up gift cards, store credits etc. lately as we just bought a house!
So here are some of my February favorites, mostly good deals but also a couple of indulgences.
Somehow the first month of 2023 is already over–and we’re headed into the coldest month of the year here in Minnesota. (And right on schedule, as I’m writing this post, I see a dip into subzero temperatures on the forecast this week…Â yay. Not.)

It’s the end of the holiday season and I can definitely say I’ve spent more money this year than in a few. Not only did we need a bunch of essentials for our new apartment, I feel like I’ve also needed adjustments in other areas of life–wardrobe, beauty, kids’ things etc–that necessitated a lot of new purchases.
