2022 was a year of change for our family. We traveled all over the country and world, sold our first house, almost moved abroad and added a third baby boy to the crew.
For me personally, it was also a year of shaking off the dust of the pandemic and getting back to a life I loved. It’s the end of the holiday season and I can definitely say I’ve spent more money this year than in a few. Not only did we need a bunch of essentials for our new apartment, I feel like I’ve also needed adjustments in other areas of life–wardrobe, beauty, kids’ things etc–that necessitated a lot of new purchases.
I don’t like shopping for its own sake, but I did enjoy shopping for the kids this year as well as investing in some timeless pieces for our home and myself. So let’s chat shopping!… Read More »

This Christmas was a busy one for us! It started two weeks ago when we celebrated Christmas early with my dad and not-so-baby brother. They spend the holidays in Italy with my stepfamily, so we had brunch and a gift exchange with them the day before their travels.
On Christmas Eve, we had a long video call in the morning with Eric’s family to open gifts and chat. In the afternoon, we headed to church for the Christmas Eve service.
