This is not actually new news… the sale was closed on September 14, and we accepted an offer over a month before that! We haven’t lived in the red brick house for a while now.

K. J. Walker arrived in the wee hours of the morning on September 21, 2022. His birth was finally what I wanted out of labor & delivery: quick, in the hospital, with a doula and wonderful OB, just gas & air for pain management, and most importantly, safe, peaceful and non-traumatic.
My house is a complete disaster, I am exhausted and it’s not remotely fall-like outside in Minnesota yet… but here I am, writing about my favorite season anyways 🙂 School starts next week so it doesn’t feel too premature actually.… 
It’s not quite to the end of the month yet but since I haven’t posted in now over a month… let’s do a little catch up!
We’re only halfway through the year, but I’ve somehow already met my goal of reading 20 books! I’m rather impressed with myself.
