Last week, my thoughts on whether college is worth it received a fair bit of notice. So, I thought I’d follow up my experience with some actionable advice. How do you know if you should go to college?… Read More »
Onion, Olive, & Cheese Crackers (Gluten-Free)
Let’s be honest, some recipes are just plain ugly. Some of my favorite pasta dishes and soups will never make it to Bon Appetit magazine because of their looks–but that doesn’t mean they aren’t delicious and worth sharing.
These gluten-free cheese crackers are of those ugly-but-delicious recipes that you’d never find in Bon Appetit or Saveur, or scrolling through Pinterest or foodgawker. But life is too short to worry about aesthetics all of the time, and this recipe is one of our absolute favorites!… Read More »
Is College Worth It? Part 1: My Story
Currently, most American high school seniors have submitted their college applications and are waiting for letters of acceptance (or rejection). Hard to believe that was me just over six years ago!

Friends and family often ask us: What exactly do you eat? Eric has celiac disease, and I am lactose intolerant and have IBS. We can stump people when it comes to planning a dinner menu. But regardless of the lack of bread/normal dairy/various other random things that I can’t eat, we actually eat pretty normal food.
I personally love “a day in the life” and “what’s in my fridge” blog posts. So today, I thought I’d share a look inside our allergy-friendly fridge and pantry. I wrote this post shortly after returning from a trip to Whole Foods & Target, so you can see what we usually have on hand!… Read More »
