Now that I have our wedding pictures back, I can share more of the day with you! I’ll start at the beginning, with getting with my bridesmaids and me getting our hair and makeup done. (I don’t share many photos of my friends and family on the blog for privacy reasons. However, you can imagine that they were all there enjoying the day with me from start to finish!)… Read More »
How to Make DIY Bridesmaid Pamper Bags (on a Budget)
I’m not embarrassed to admit that ours was a budget wedding. And it was perfect. I wouldn’t have changed a thing, even if we’d had ten times the amount to spend. All of our parents generously picked different things to cover, and we paid for a few parts ourselves.
One of those things was gifts for our parents and for our wedding party. I know gifts aren’t a necessity, but they were something that I wanted to do. They may not seem inherently restful or indulgent. But they’re little tasks that often fall through the cracks when life gets busy–often, tasks that have a disproportionate impact on how put-together we feel. Enjoy!… Read More »
My Tea Party Bridal Shower

The shower theme was an intimate afternoon tea. We wound up with ten guests which was just the right size. Enough that a good number of my favorite ladies were there, but few enough that my introverted self was perfectly relaxed!… Read More »
