Eric and I have bought lots of things secondhand over the past few years: furniture, textbooks, our car, my engagement ring. In the past couple of years I’ve bought more and more secondhand clothes, too. From talking with friends and family and observing their behavior with regards to clothes shopping, I’ve come to realize that there is a lot of mystery and some negative stereotypes associated with buying secondhand. I’d like to talk through them, based on my own experiences!… Read More »
Thoughts on Facebook Friends
A couple of months ago I started minimizing my online life. I decided about a month later to continue sharing personal posts on this blog. However, I do try to keep my family and friends’ identities protected and I haven’t stopped scaling back on social media, particularly Facebook.

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably noticed that we took a sudden, six-day-long road trip across the country last week. Surprise… we’re back in Minnesota, permanently this time! I couldn’t tell you until now because of reasons related to Eric’s work, but everything’s finally ironed out. We’re currently at my mom’s house and moving into our new apartment this weekend.… Read More »
